Meet the human behind the expertise: Announcing Video Pitches
Stand out in the inbox, a face among paragraphs.
Prove you are real: verified, recorded by you, in your voice.
Three steps, all inside Qwoted.
Find the right Opportunity
Look for the video icon on Opportunities where the journalist has asked for it, or add video to any pitch you send.
Record in your browser
Hit record, speak to the brief, review your take and re-record if you want. PR pros can send the link to a client to record.
Send it with your pitch
Your video lands next to your written answer, marked Recorded on Qwoted so the reporter knows it came from you.
A badge that says this is really you.
Videos you record in Qwoted carry a Recorded on Qwoted designation. When a reporter sees it, they know the video came from your verified account and was captured on the platform, which gives your pitch a head start on trust.
Questions we expect.
Do I need special equipment?
A laptop or phone camera and a quiet room are enough. Reporters are looking for clarity and substance, not studio lighting.
How long should my video be?
Aim for 30 to 60 seconds. Answer the brief directly, say who you are, and give one point a reporter could quote.
Can I re-record before sending?
Yes. Review each take and record again as many times as you like. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it.
I'm a PR pro. Can my client record?
Yes. Send your client the recording link from the pitch and their video attaches to your submission once they finish.
Can I upload a video I already have?
Uploads are not supported. Recording in Qwoted is what earns the Recorded on Qwoted badge journalists rely on.
