Qwoted Is Advancing Efficient Matching With Groundbreaking New Technology

Qwoted is excited to announce an initiative to incorporate innovative technology in tandem with user interaction, in order to create a more efficient and effective matching and recommendation system. 

While we work behind the scenes to get the ball rolling on this project, we wanted to let you in on how it works, and why we’re pushing to integrate it. 

What is GPT-3?

GPT-3 is a third-generation Generative Pre-trained Transformer. 

Simply put, this means that GPT-3 is a deep-learning network that uses internet data to generate text and perform search and matching functions. Developed by OpenAI, it requires a small amount of input text to generate large volumes of relevant and sophisticated machine-generated text.

Think of it like building a car— the engine is GPT-3’s network, the fuel is human data from the user base, and the chassis is Qwoted’s implementation. Together, they create a vehicle for innovation.

What can GPT-3 do?

One of GPT-3’s main functions is natural language processing and generation. This means that it can use text that already exists on the internet to create new, realistic human text. This often includes short form copy, but also longer form blogs and articles.

GPT-3 can also be used for conversational tasks. These include generating new, context-appropriate text in response to search queries, and even generating new text structures and programming code.

Why is GPT-3 Valuable for Qwoted’s users?

At Qwoted, we intend to use GPT-3 for a variety of use cases, but the most valuable case is improving our search and match functions for sources. Specifically, it will help improve results for matching Media users with Expert sources and increase successful match rates across the board. Additionally (and most importantly), it will make the Qwoted network easier to use by improving the speed and accuracy for Media users to find relevant sources!
